NAPOLEON hostel is Moscow’s oldest and friendliest back-packing hostel and is located in the historic downtown area of Moscow known as Kitai- Gorod. Here you can experience the ‘old’ Moscow with cobbled streets, old merchant houses and quaint Orthodox churches. This historical area is also the heart of Moscow’s nightlife and there are many bars and clubs, cheap restaurants and cafes to explore.

Pushkin Monument

The monument was erected in honour of the famous
Russian author and poet Alexander Pushkin in 1880.

Today this is the most fashionable district of Moscow. Our hostel is located in a fully renovated pre-revolutionary apartment, in the same building that Napoleon himself stayed when he occupied Moscow back in 1812. We are located just off the main road, in a quiet street with all of Moscow on our doorstep. We are just 5 minutes walk from Red Square and the Kremlin, and 200 meters away from the nearest Metro station.
